Paula Deen Makes Another Apology! And Then Rides Another Person Around On Stage! Has She Really Changed??

With the millions of dollars invested in her ‘comeback,’ we’d say apologizing again before getting down to it is a pretty good start!
It’s just too bad people don’t easily forget! (We’re kidding, fans forget everything if it involves celebrity!)
Paula Deen is ready to apologize for her racism scandal once again (and for all?), and she was at the South Beach Wine and Food Festival in front of hundreds of people to do just that.
Here’s what she said about her hard summer:

“We have come off a very hard summer. Some people said I never apologized. If anyone did not hear me, I want to apologize. I just have to say your cards and letters helped me get out of bed every day.”

It’s super strange how she almost sounds like she’s the victim! Plus her son already used the tough summer line, so we’d like some new material.
Anyway, it’s hard to take her seriously when we know there are strategists behind her telling her what to say and what to do – we mean, that’s the only way her new company, Paula Deen Ventures, could have received an investment between $75 million and $100 million from Najafi Cos.
After the apology, that’s when Food Network star Robert Irvine, who survived a resum├â┬⌐ padding scandal in 2008, went up on stage and laid this loaf out:

“You’ve apologized, you’ve eaten crow. Don’t do it anymore.”

AND THEN THIS HAPPENED:

Yes, that IS Robert Irvine on his hands and knees just so Paula could ride him yelling:

“I’m back in the saddle again!”

Sigh.
This is real life, people.
