Whomp, whomp! Fair is fair, we guess!
Ne-Yo and his booking agent were ordered to pay a hefty $$$ this week to a rightfully pissed off concert promoter. The singer missed a show in Washington back in 2008, but never returned the deposit given to him to appear. The promoters claimed that they were misled by Ne-Yo and his team and dragged them to court to be reimbursed.
The judge ruled in the promoter’s favor and awarded them $156,000 in damages. During the hearing, Ne-Yo testified that he knew in his “heart of hearts” the deposit should have been returned and confessed he was sorry.
Well, at least there is that! No need for hard feelings if he really is sorry!
