Wow.
Laverne & Shirley star turned famed producer Penny Marshall has been diagnosed with both brain and liver tumors, the National Enquirer is reporting.
So sad.
Marshall began to feel unwell after a flight from Los Angeles to New York to catch the Yankees in the World Series playoffs.
“After the flight, Penny felt so sick that she needed to see a doctor,” says one source. “She was vomiting and thought it might be the flu.”
While evaluating the A League of Their Own producer, doctors discovered tumors on Penny’s brain and liver.
According to the insider, doctors informed Penny she would need to “schedule her for surgery and that they’d need to take a biopsy to determine if she had cancer.”
Marshall reportedly underwent brain surgery in NY on October 30th.
