Pentatonix Scores The FIRST EVER Number One Album For An A Cappella Group -- While Beating Demi Lovato In The Process!

They just made history!
Demi Lovato may have been confident in her fifth studio album… but it looks like Pentatonix actually had more to be happy about.
That’s because the quintet just became the first a cappella group EVER to score the No. 1 album on Billboard!

PTX managed to sell a little over 98,000 copies of their self-titled album this week, just barely edging out Demi’s number… which was also right at 98,000.
The rest of this week’s Top 5 include The Weeknd‘s Beauty Behind the Madness, Machine Gun Kelly‘s General Admission, and Fetty Wap‘s eponymous album.
It was a super close race, but we’re just happy to have so much new music!
