Does Pete Davidson have a new bae already??
As we reported, the Saturday Night Live star recently ended his short-lived flame with Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood actress Margaret Qualley. But now, the comedian’s got us all wondering if he’s back off the market after he was spotted on a date with model Kaia Gerber in New York City this week!

The 18-year-old and the 25-year-old were photographed sitting next to each other in a corner booth and enjoying conversation together at a brunch restaurant called Sadelle’s.
In the fan-captured shot, the pair appeared quite casual as Gerber wore a cozy green sweater and Davidson rocked a grey crew neck sweatshirt.

Judging by Kaia’s sheepish smile as she checked her phone and Pete’s wide-toothed grin, it looks like they were having a pretty good time!
But, is one meal over carbs and coffee enough for us to ship these two already?
Well, not quite! However, there might a bit more evidence to support our theory.
Interestingly, that same day, paparazzi caught Pete strolling through the SoHo area by himself, not too far away from where Cindy Crawford‘s daughter lives. What’s notable here is Ariana Grande‘s ex sported a different outfit than he did for the aforementioned date, opting for a black Louis Vuitton zip-up sweatshirt, yellow shirt, and black sweatpants with a pair of multi-colored sneakers.
A source told Page Six that Davidson was leaving the supermodel’s apartment at the time, but claimed the duo were “just friends.”
Hmm. So, it sounds like their hangout involved more than just a meal! But overall, it’s still unclear and too early to tell if they’re really just pals catching up in the Big Apple or perhaps something more.
Time will tell!
And if you’re scratching your head trying to figure out how the rising young model and late-night TV personality even became acquainted to begin with, we are too! Let’s not forget though that Pete’s got some serious BDE and it clearly hasn’t worn off on his female prospects yet. LOLz!
As we mentioned at the top, this all comes shortly after Davidson and Qualley’s romance ran its course after less than four months. There’s reportedly no bad blood between them though, as a source told Us Weekly “they remain friends” despite the split.
And of course, we all know the Set It Up actor famously dated and was engaged to Miz Grande for the better part of 2018 before they eventually called it quits, too.
Gerber, for her part, has a much shorter public dating history as the teen’s only been linked to fellow model Wellington Grant earlier this year. The good-looking pair sparked romance rumors in early February when Kaia was spotted on Grant’s Instagram Story. They were then seen cozying up on Valentine’s Day before being photographed holding hands while strolling through NYC days later. But their flame reportedly fizzled out by this past April.
In an interview with British Vogue last month, the starlet said her work schedule offered her little time to focus on her love life. She admitted:
“When I’m working, I don’t have the energy to even flirt with anyone. I’m sorry, I just can’t… But I’m not losing hope in all love forever. I have backgammon at my house, and that’s all a girl needs. When I’m home, I’m living the life of a 70-year-old woman… I’m an old soul.”
Better brush up on those backgammon skills, Pete!
