It looks like there might be serious drama brewing between Kaia Gerber‘s parents and her new boyfriend Pete Davidson.
According to a report published by DailyMail.com, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber were spotted having an intense conversation outside of their daughter’s New York City apartment on Friday afternoon — and their mood was reportedly sour because of an alarming conversation the model’s dad just had with Pete!

We know Ariana Grande‘s ex doesn’t exactly have the best track record or reputation when it comes to romantic relationships — but things seemed to be going pretty well for the new pair until now!
In the photos (HERE) captured by the outlet, the 53-year-old supermodel appeared visibly concerned as she listened to her husband describe a chat he reportedly had with the Saturday Night Live star only minutes prior.
A bystander told the outlet that Rande was overheard talking about someone upstairs in the apartment who had “scratched eyes” and was “freaking out.” The person is believed to be the 26-year-old comedian, who was reportedly spotted leaving the building shortly after by a different exit.
A Concerned Father…
The DM‘s source provided more context about the pair’s convo and claimed Rande was reportedly overheard saying:
“He’s got scratched out eyes. His face was like scared as if someone or a camera was on him. His eyes are very… and he’s like freaking out.”
The insider also claimed to hear another fragment of the Casamigos tequila tycoon’s words, (below):
“How in the hell can he… be away… he needs help my God that’s crazy… private rehab, ummm, like in an hour.”
Per the report, Davidson hopped into a silver Lincoln SUV after he left and Kaia was not home at the time. Paparazzi caught the young model returning to her place later on that evening.
Craaazy!!
At this point, all we have is a second-hand account and some very telling photos about what might have gone down at the starlet’s pad. But that bit seems to suggest the funnyman’s upcoming stint at a rehabilitation center might be a source of contention for the Gerber family.
Which, we can sort of understand, right? Can we blame these doting parents for their concern? Despite Pete’s decision to get help, this recent display of erratic behavior certainly can’t be a good look for him in their eyes, right?
As you’ll likely recall, Davidson joked about his plan to receive professional help again during a recent SNL skit where he said:
“I’m going on a little ‘vacation.’ The kind of vacation where insurance pays for some of it, and they take your phone and shoelaces. And you have roommates, but it still costs like $100,000.”
