Pete Doherty Banned From Driving For One Year!

This is just a first step! The next is jail!

Pete Doherty has been banned from driving for one year after allowing his manager Andrew Boyd to use his car without insurance. Boyd was put in prison for 12 months in February after running down a man in Doherty’s Daimler.

The man has been in a coma since the accident back in September!

As for Doherty he was hit with the one year ban and a $750 fine after he plead guilty to allowing the car to be driven by an uninsured person.

The rocker already has an 18-month driving ban from last December for careless and drunk driving!

The two bans will run at the same time which means Doherty could be back on the road in June 2011.

Buckle up, England!
