Libertines frontman Pete Doherty has reportedly signed on to play womanizing French poet Alfred de Musset in an adaptation of his novel, La Confession d’un Enfant du Si├â┬¿cle, alongside Charlotte Gainsbourg as the female lead!
Reports reveal that production began on Monday in Germany, which will take the place of France for the purposes of the film.
Wow! We had no idea that he had ANY interest in acting, let alone would be able to snag such a big role!
We’ll be VERY interested to see how this turns out! Here’s hoping he surprises us all and pulls out a good performance!
