Woah, we’re simply amazed!
While it’s obvious the ALS ice bucket challenge has taken America (and it’s celebrities!) by storm, we were still shocked to learn how much the challenge has raised for the disease.
The inspiration behind the challenge, former Boston College baseball player Pete Frates (who was diagnosed with in 2012, and just lost a friend who helped him with the campaign), should be EXTREMELY proud because the movement he helped launch has raised…
15.6 MILLION DOLLARS!!!
And it’s growing!!
Who knows how much more the challenge will raise in the coming weeks!
The 15 mil figure is even more astounding when compared to the 50 grand the ALS foundation raised in the same period last year.
Our hearts are officially melted!
