It’s a tough time for both Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz and obviously, the best way to work out their issues is to talk it out…with Ryan Seacrest.
Who better, right?
This morning, Pete was on Ryan’s radio show to clear the air about his relationship with Ashlee. There are a lot of rumors flying around about the two, so we suppose Pete wanted to jump at the opportunity to be heard. However, Pete had only lovely things to say about his soon-to-be ex-wife. He told Ryan:
“Ashlee’s been my best friend for five years. She’s the mother of my child. I have nothing but love and respect for her…Going through something like this isn’t easy, but we’re friends and the most important thing is to put our son first.”
Glad to hear you guys have your priorites in order.
Plus, who knows? Maybe you two will find a way to patch things up. But if not, remaining friends for your son’s sake is what is most important.
