Peter Robbins — the former child actor known as the original voice of Peanuts character Charlie Brown — pleaded guilty on Tuesday to threatening to hire someone to kill San Diego Sheriff Bill Gore.
The now 59-year-old was arrested in September for the incident in which he threatened the Sheriff, a judge, and the manager of a mobile home park. At the time, he was living in Oceanside, CA with his dog Snoopy.

Robbins told Superior Court Judge William Chidsey, Jr. he has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and paranoid schizophrenia:
“I’m mentally ill. I’ve committed no crime.”
Robbins faces to four years and eight months in prison when sentenced in December.
This isn’t the troubled El Lay native’s first run-in with the law.
Two years ago he was given probation after being nabbed for felony stalking and threatening a former girlfriend and her plastic surgeon.
Robbins served four months in jail after violating probation by drinking alcohol, not finishing a domestic violence class, and removing his GPS tracking anklet.
Yikes.
