Peter Weber DENIES betraying his ex!
As we reported, the Bachelorette contestant’s former flame, Calee Lutes, told Entertainment Tonight the two were in a serious relationship for six months before he allegedly ended things in December 2018 to appear on the ABC show.

On Tuesday, the pilot spoke to People where he refutes the model’s allegations.
Hannah Brown‘s former suitor told the publication:
“There was a lot of truth to what she said in her story, but there is also a lot of truth that wasn’t mentioned… The show had absolutely nothing to do with me ending that relationship.”
The 27-year-old added:
“I was very serious in trying to progress that relationship and move it forward. And she wasn’t on the same page as me… That being said, I wasn’t going to waste her time or my time. But the casting process and my first interview was months after we broke up.”
Regardless:
“It’s obvious that I hurt someone that I really did care about… That was never my intention. And for that I’m sorry. Breakups suck!”
While speaking to ET, Lutes said she “met [Weber] through a dating app in June of 2018.”
Sadly, two days before Christmas, she alleged:
“… we FaceTimed and he said that we should end our relationship before it got even more serious. He didn’t really have a reason why. I was devastated and completely blindsided. To do this right before Christmas was cruel, it not only ruined my Christmas, but my family’s as well. I didn’t understand why it was so urgent to end things so suddenly. I thought there was another girl, so I looked at his recent followers on Instagram, and noticed that a Bachelorette producer had recently followed him. I didn’t think much of it at the time, but I knew there was something he wasn’t telling me. He immediately deleted EVERY trace of me on Instagram. He deleted our pictures, which is expected, but he also untagged me from photos, deleted my comments from his page and went as far as unliking my photos/deleting his comments from my Instagram as well.”
When asked if and how he betrayed her, she divulged:
“He absolutely betrayed me. He interviewed for a reality dating show while simultaneously planning a future with me. I trusted him entirely and he pulled the rug out from under me. Also, if all of this wasn’t bad enough, I’ve had multiple people reach out to me and tell me that he was seeing other women while we were exclusive.”
Ultimately, she believes she “definitely dodged a bullet,” and thinks Bachelorette Hannah “[seems] like an awesome woman.”
Weber was recently eliminated from the show — finishing 3rd.
