Kendrick Lamar has already ticked off Michael Lohan and Diddy with his lyrics on the song Control, but there’s one guy who wasn’t too upset.
Phil Jackson!
The rapper referenced the legendary coach in his verse saying:
├óΓé¼┼ôWho the f*ck y’all thought it’s supposed to be? If Phil Jackson came back, still no coachin’ me. I’m uncoachable, I’m unsociable├óΓé¼┬¥
But rather than getting mad, Phil used this as a teaching moment and tweeted at KL:
@kendricklamar it’s okay to be cocky and sure, but we all need somebody to lean on. Let’s just call it mentoring.

What a perfectly predictable Phil response.
But the more awesome thing here is that Mr. Jackson listens to Kendrick! Ha!
That’s amazeballs!
And who knows, maybe KL will end up getting some mentoring from Phil sooner than later since he’s got a lot more haters now.
