We wonder how this is going to work out, especially given the nature of the suit!!
Pink Floyd is currently in a legal battle with their label, EMI Group Ltd, over what kind of royalty payments they should be awarded in the age of digital music!!
The group’s lawyer, Robert Howe, claims their contact prohibits selling tracks “otherwise than in the original configuration of the Pink Floyd albums,” while EMI says the rule only covers their physical albums!!
C’mon, EMI!!
Just pay up – they’ve been with you since 1967, don’t skeeve them over now!!
