Specialists Entertainment is suing Pink for alleged unpaid royalties from over a decade ago.
The recently filed court documents say the company helped produce her first album, Can’t Take Me Home, but is still owed $36,213.31.
Normally we’d shake a disapproving finger at a celeb with unpaid bills, but this case doesn’t exactly scream negligence on her part.
Pink isn’t refuting the record company’s claims, technically, but her peeps insist the plaintiff instead needs to go after partnering producer Sony because they’re the ones who cut up the cash pie after the album sold six million copies.
We don’t much care who wins this lawsuit… so long as our homegirl is back making sweet tracks in the studio again soon!
