Oh no!!!
Pink is all set to sing the National Anthem tomorrow right before Super Bowl LII kicks off in Minneapolis, but she’s in the midst of battling a particularly vicious flu bug, and she’s having serious trouble singing and beating back the sickness this weekend!!

According to TMZ sources, Pink had “a really tough time” making it through her rehearsal of the anthem on Thursday night, and apparently “everyone involved” with the production felt rehearsal went poorly by the time it ended.
To make matters worse, Pink tried to power through a pre-Super Bowl concert on Friday up in Minneapolis, but she had to dial things back and let her backup singers and the audience do the work for her at multiple points throughout the show.
At one point, Pink even cut off her track Beautiful Trauma while referencing her sickness and telling the crowd (below):
“I can’t do it. I hate this … I can’t do that song. I’m sorry.”
Ugh!!!
What a bad time for the flu to hit!!!
No word yet on if there’s a backup plan for the anthem singer if Pink is truly unable to go on game day tomorrow — it sounds like she’s still adamant that she’s going to sing and will do her best, though.

We’ll see if anything changes tomorrow, but for now… everybody send good wishes to Pink for a LOT of rest tonight and hopefully a little bit of recovery ahead of the big pre-game anthem tomorrow!!!
