Pink isn’t ready to fully throw in the towel on her marriage to Carey Hart quite yet!
Back in February, reports claimed the 46-year-old singer separated from the former professional motocross racer after two decades of marriage. Pink was not standing for the “fake news” about their relationship, though. She took to Instagram to shut down the split rumors in a very sarcastic video, saying:
“So, I was just alerted to the fact that I’m separated from my husband. I didn’t know. Thank you for letting me know. Would you also like to tell our children? My 14-year-old and my 9-year-old are also unaware.”
That’s it. Pink denied the rumors, so end of story, right?

However, we then heard they are struggling in their marriage and are figuring out a plan to “uncouple” right now. Oof. As for where they stand weeks later, there’s no official word from either Pink or Carey. He has been noticeably silent on the rumors, neither backing nor refuting the pop star’s initial comments. Now, a source is giving an update on the relationship — and it sounds like things have changed… for her, at least.
According to Radar Online on Tuesday, Pink is now determined to save their marriage! Sources confirmed the pair has a lot of problems to work through, and she is furious that everyone knows about it:
“Pink is on a warpath right now to find out where the rumors are coming from. She wants assurance they’re not coming from Carey’s pals.”
If that’s the case, what a way to break the friend code and add more stress for the duo! Jeez! Especially during a time when their marriage is supposedly in a rocky place! And the stress could only get worse depending on what Pink decides to do next…
As you know, there are rumors that the musician will take over Kelly Clarkson‘s talk show slot after it concludes in the fall. Pink even moved her family to New York City, adding more suspicion. Although the Who Knew artist previously said the relocation was to help their daughter Willow pursue her Broadway dreams, it’s likely she is also going after a huge opportunity for herself — and if she accepts, her marriage to Carey may be in even more trouble:
“If she takes the TV offer, which a lot of people are saying is already a done deal, it’s hard to imagine it won’t put added stress on her marriage. Carey is a West Coast guy — being in the city full time will be a rough change.”
Yikes! Ultimately, the source thinks the two are having “some tough conversations,” but Pink doesn’t want to give up yet:
“There have been some tough conversations lately. Still, Pink swears they’re strong enough to navigate whatever life throws at them.”
Pink and Carey have been through a lot during their 20-year marriage. They even separated in 2008, but got back together a year later after working on themselves. If anyone can get through this rough patch, it’s them. That is, if Carey also chooses to put in the effort to save their relationship. We’ll see.
