Pippa Middleton has got quite the rock!!
ICYMI: Kate Middleton‘s younger sis was reported to be engaged to her boyfriend of less than a year, James Matthews.
On Tuesday, the 32-year-old basically confirmed the news by stepping out in a sweet white frock to really drive the point home. Oh, and she just so happened to be flashing a giant diamond rock on that finger!

Wow!! Her fiancée did good!
And a joint statement, the married couple-to-be gushed:
“Miss Pippa Middleton and Mr. James Matthews are delighted to announce they became engaged on Sunday, July 17, and plan to marry next year.”
Aww! And even big sis Kate and Prince William are excited about the engagement. A Kensington Palace spokesperson shared on their behalf:
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are absolutely delighted with the news.”
How delightful! Pippa’s parents echoed the same sentiments in a statement of their own released by Mr. Middleton:
“Carole and I are absolutely thrilled with the news. They make a wonderful couple and we wish them every happiness together.”
It really sounds like the entire family approves of James — but if you were wondering who he is, you’re not alone. Here are five facts about the newly engaged brunette beauty’s man:
1. He’s An Entrepreneur!
Mr. Matthews has had his own hedge fund, Eden Rock Capital Management Group, for over 10 years. He even serves as CEO!
2. He’s NOT Royalty!
James may have no royal ties, BUT he did go to the same all-boys boarding school, Eton College, as Prince William and Prince Harry.
3. He’s Really Into Sports!
The 40-year-old has a love for athletics, and even competed in a 47-mile Otillo swim-run in Sweden with Pippa back in September!
4. His Brother Is A Reality TV Star!
Yes, James’ own younger brother is a star in his own right! Spencer Matthews is famous from starring on London’s hit show Made in Chelsea! Sadly, their older brother, Michael, passed away during his descent after climbing to the top of Mount Everest.
5. He Shares The Same Name As Pippa & Kate’s Brother!
James isn’t going to be the only one in the family! Pippa’s younger brother shares the same name (AND initials), so it’ll be interesting to see what sort of nicknames get made up to differentiate them in conversations. LOLz!
