So sad!
Another championship athlete has committed suicide in the same week as Olympic freestyle skier Jeret Peterson.
Former New York Yankees pitcher Hideki Irabu, who last pitched in the major leagues in 2002, was found dead by a friend in his California home yesterday.
The 1998 and 1999 World Series champion apparently took his own life by hanging himself.
Ugh! We hate to hear about people resorting to suicide and only wish they had gotten the help they needed!
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, suicide is NEVER the answer!
We’re sorry Hideki chose this route, but we hope he rests in peace and wish his loved ones the best as they deal with their loss.
