A Pizza Hut In Australia Thought It Was A Good Idea To Give Away Actual Living Hamsters With Its Pizza

No word on whether or not they came in the same box! LOLz!
A Pizza Hut in Australia is under fire for an extremely ill-conceived promotion which involves hamsters.
Yes, hamsters.
Management at a Melbourne location decided to give every customer who bought ten pizzas a hamster, which definitely isn’t very animal friendly.
Facebook users publicly lashed out at the company with complaints like:

“I will never have Pizza Hut again! How dare you hand out a small animal as a promotion… you are disgraceful and cruel!”

Thankfully for the hamsters, an animal rights organization, Oscar’s Law, stepped in and shut down the promotion.
We agree with the people of Australia on this one… hamsters and pizza do NOT go together!
