#PizzaRat Revealed To Be An Elaborate Hoax? Just Like These Other Viral Fakers...

Well, this is just disappointing!
According to a report in Gothamist, a performance artist may have trained a rat and released it in the New York Subway system to create last year’s infamous Pizza Rat video.
Apparently, a struggling New York actor named Eric Yearwood revealed to the website that he was paid $200 to star in a separate viral rat video by a woman named — of course — Zardulu. The way Yearwood tells it, Zardulu is a New York-based performance artist and has trained and used rats in other videos, as well.
And the people who filmed and released the “spontaneous” videos can’t be found for comment either??
No, Pizza Rat, no!!! We celebrated you with Halloween costumes and undying Internet love, and THIS is the thanks we get?! Why, you little… rat!
