A poker pro is reeling after having ALL his winnings stolen in a terrifying robbery!
Over the weekend, Huntington Beach resident Jared Griener (not pictured above) made his was to Sin City for the World Series of Poker, where he won BIG… But in a twisted turn of events, he didn’t end up getting to keep ANY of his winnings! Because two criminals broke into his Airbnb and pried it from his hands!

On Monday, the poker champion took to his X (Twitter) account to reveal how he went from hero to zero in a terrifying turn of events on Sunday. He wrote:
“After busting the closer I collected payouts from the summer and drove back to my Airbnb. When I walked In the front door two men were there waiting, immediately tackled me to the ground and tied me up and took my backpack with my entire roll in it. What the f**k!!!!”
He added a screenshot of a series of texts he sent to someone, in which he details:
“I came back to my Airbnb a few hours ago and when I walked in the door there were two black guys waiting for me”
He went on:
“They tackled me and pinned me down and told me they’d kill me if I moved”
Jared revealed the unidentified men “hog tied” him with “duct tape.”
That’s insane!!!
He went on to reveal he fully cashed out because he planned to return to LA either that night or the next morning, so he was wiped completely clean. However, he called the cops and revealed they “are doing a whole f**king CSI investigation.”
He ended off:
Literally all my $ gone man omg im so f**ked. Im glad im ok at least holy f**king s**t”

In additional tweets, Jared offered more details:
“I was hog tied and stuck there for a while trying to escape and finally got out and ran out of the house to a neighbor to call 911. Luckily I am physically unharmed. This was the most terrifying and traumatic experience of my life. All my $ is gone.”

That’s so eerie… Was it possibly an inside job?! Jared added it “took [him] about 15 min to wriggle out of” the hog tie. How scary! We’re just so glad he’s physically OK.
Jared went on to speculate that the robbery occurred by someone who was “likely someone was watching me at @wsop and knew that I was on my way home with cash. Las Vegas detectives are currently investigating.”

It’s not clear how much money was stolen from Jared, but the New York Post reported he’s amassed $1,723,561 in WSOP earnings total over his career in the game.
