At some point or another, we’ve all had a hard time getting sleep when we were younger thanks to all of those scary things that go bump in the night!
Well 11-year-old Aubrey Craig and her 9-year-old sister Ava are no different as their parents say they were too scared to get any shut eye!!
Luckily for them, their family friend Lieutenant Paul Barbour heard about their troubles and decided to swing by their neighborhood in Edmond, Oklahoma and left them a note assuring them everything is OK!!
It reads:
“Hello Ava and Aubrey,
This is Lt. Paul Barbour from Edmond P.D. I work the night shift and patrol neighborhoods and look for criminal activity. We do this so people can sleep and night and not worry about their safety.
I was driving through your neighborhood and everything looked good! I wanted to drop you a note to let you know all is well!

Paul Barbour.”
Awwwww! How sweet!
Both Ava and Aubrey say they’re sleeping a LOT better now knowing they have Lt. Paul protecting them!
Who says police officers have to be scary??
