More money troubles for Wayne Newton as some hefty hospital bills will soon be weighing him down even more.
The National Enquirer is reporting that Wayne is fighting to keep debt collectors at bay while he sits at the bedside of his ailing daughter, Erin. Wayne canceled a string of concerts that would have helped him financially to fly to St. Louis last month when his pregnant daughter suffered liver, kidney and respiratory failure due to a rare but life-threatening pregnancy-related illness called HELLP syndrome. Last Thursday, she fell into a coma and Wayne has refused to leave her side since.
Thankfully, Erin regained consciousness this week, but Wayne still refuses to leave her. The longer he stays, the more $$$ trouble he gets into. But we can’t really fault him on this one. We know we’d want to be there if someone we loved just went through something so dramatic.
