Talent must run in the family!
Quick, raise your hand if you knew that Natalie Portman‘s last name was originally Hershlag! Okay! Now, put your hand down because you’re sitting in front of a computer.
So, how many of you guys knew that her dad is actually a very respected fertility specialist? Well it turns out that isn’t he only thing he is, because he just dropped his debut novel all over the literary world!
Dr. Avner Hershlag had been meaning to publish his novel, a contender for title of the year, Misconception, but didn’t have the time necessary to get in the hands of anyone major (really? like your daughter?!), but at the prodding of his friends and family who raved about the book, he decided to self-publish!
Here’s what the book is about:
“[A] tale of cloning experiments gone bad and the compromised embryos of a U.S. first lady.”
That’s a pretty effective story line! Also, it’s rather inneresting that he’s all about babies and writing novels about them while he’s expecting a grandchild of his own!
We hope the novel does well for you, Avner! We’ll have to nab us a copy!
