Speaking to Music Mayhem on Sunday, single mother Renee Brown shared that she was working as a bartender at The Railyard Bar in Houston, Texas on Christmas Eve when the music star and his pals (including fellow artist Shaboozey) came in for drinks.
She was “so sad” not to be spending the special night with her 9-year-old daughter for the first time, but Post quickly made her frown turn upside down! Why? After drinking and hanging out for a while, he tipped her $20,000! AMAZING!

Even cooler? When the musician asked for his check, Renee said he actually “didn’t have one because many regulars and his friends bought his beverages.” He was so determined to tip her, though, that he asked her “to ring him up for a penny or anything.” Wow. Not everyone would go out of their way to be so generous. Love that!
The money was truly life-changing for Renee, she expressed:
“This put me in a position to at least be able to get a way back and forth to work and pay up on rent and save a bit. I’m trying to save up to start a business, so I don’t have to continue working two jobs and be able to spend more time with my daughter.”
But it wasn’t just the money that cheered her up. She said the Sunflower singer was the “most humble, personable celebrity” she’s ever met, adding:
“He changed my life on Christmas f**king Eve, and will forever be grateful. Thank you so much, Austin.”
She continued:
“This was truly a blessing that I can’t fully put into words. The visit alone was absolutely amazing and something I could talk about and remember for the rest of my life.”
Incredible! What a class act!
