Power Plant Forces Hopeful Interns Into Online Bikini Contest!

As if we needed more proof sexism was alive and well…
Just a few days ago, we told you about how acclaimed actress Emmy Rossum was asked to audition in a bikini for a role that didn’t even require wearing one.
Well, it’s disgusting when it happens in Hollywood, and it’s disgusting when it happens atop a fission reactor.

A power plant in the Czech Republic got into contaminated water last week after hold an online bikini contest — as part of its process to find an intern!
Hopeful high school graduates stripped down and posed in various areas of CEZ’s Temel├â┬¡n station (above) — lord knows how they narrowed down the applicants before this round — and were told whoever had the most votes online would get the internship.
After a slew of complaints on the plant’s Facebook page, an apology was finally issued:

“The purpose of the competition was to promote technical education… but if the original vision raised doubts or concerns, we are very sorry.”

As a way to try to make it right, the plant promised to offer internships to all ten girls.
Um, WHAT?? Sorry for being sexist pigs, to make up for it you get to come do our bidding every day?? Gross.
