Good-night, I Am Legend prequel; And flights of executives sing thee to thy rest!
After years of inactivity, the proposed prequel to Will Smith’s 2007 vampire movie I Am Legend is officially dead.
Here’s what I Am Legend director Francis Lawrence said when asked about the prequel:
“No, I don’t think that’s ever going to happen.”
Don’t worry about it, Will Smith fans! You’ve still got Men in Black III to look forward to…and maybe even some Independence Day sequels, assuming those end up happening!
If the studio execs out there were truly smart, they’d also put the Final Destination franchise out of its misery. Just sayin’!
Are U sad to hear that the I Am Legend prequel is dead?
