Just a day after the funeral of former First Lady Barbara Bush, the health of George H.W. Bush was failing.
CNN reports the 41st President was hospitalized after an infection turned into sepsis — something dangerous for anyone but much scarier for a 93-year-old.

It looks for the moment like Bush is toughing it out; his spokesman released an official statement, saying:
“President Bush was admitted to the Houston Methodist Hospital yesterday morning after contracting an infection that spread to his blood. He is responding to treatments and appears to be recovering. We will issue additional updates as events warrant.”
Wishing the former President a speedy recovery.
