This random cancellation would totally go in the President’s Book of Secrets…if the Book of Secrets wasn’t totally fictional.
According to sources, President Obama was going to visit the El Capitan Theatre tomorrow at 3pm, but Secret Service called LAPD today to tell them he was no longer going to make the trip to Hollywood during his El Lay visit.
There had been rumors that the President would appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live, but according to Jimmy Kimmel‘s publicist, those rumors weren’t true.
However, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest stated that the President was in talks with Jimmy to appear on the show, but changed his mind so he could deal “with more serious matters.”
In fact, it’s been reported that President Obama cancelled because he thought it wasn’t wise to do a comedy show while managing two international crises.
This cancellation makes total sense then. Mystery solved!
