President Obama knows that gas prices won’t lower themselves by magic.
As gas continues to go up, the POTUS continues to preach an “all of the above” energy plan and bashes Republicans for trying to stir Americans with their promises of cheap gas.
Obama’s Republican smackdown took place at Prince George’s Community College in Largo, MD. While he didn’t name anyone, the POTUS went after his competitors, stating that if this was back in the days of Columbus, Republicans would be a part of the “flat earth society.”
He continues his verbal beating by asking “why not $2.40, or $2.10” as “some” GOP’ers have promised 2.50.
Republicans tried to offer a rebuttal with Obama’s rejection of the Keystone XL pipeline, as if this would be a magical cure.
But we won’t mention how the pipeline would take YEARS to build, cost TONS of cash, and will hurt the environment.
Seriously, we aren’t mentioning that.
The President concluded that drilling for oil isn’t the only way to go, stating that alternative fuel sources need to be combined with drilling.
Won’t anyone listen to the POTUS?! We NEED solar and bio-fueled energy!
