Prince Andrew NOT Cooperating With Jeffrey Epstein Investigation! WTF?!

Prince Andrew Jeffrey Epstein Investigation Cooperation

Remember when Prince Andrew stepped away from his Royal duties, not to stretch his wings and achieve a “progressive new role” like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, but because everyone finally came to their senses and realized he had been besties for years with late billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein??

The Royal had faced accusations for years that he had partaken in sex with exploited teenagers as part of his association with the infamous accused sex trafficker. After an interview defending himself went horribly wrong — we mean, come on, the man tried to prove his innocence by saying he was temporarily unable to sweat! — it was decided he should distance himself, at least officially, from the Royal family.

It didn’t help they reportedly expected incoming subpoenas from the US Department of Justice… At the time he swore to help investigators in any way possible, writing in his public statement:

“I continue to unequivocally regret my ill-judged association with Jeffrey Epstein. His suicide has left many unanswered questions, particularly for his victims, and I deeply sympathise with everyone who has been affected and wants some form of closure. I can only hope that, in time, they will be able to rebuild their lives. Of course, I am willing to help any appropriate law enforcement agency with their investigations, if required.”

Yeah, too bad that was written down. If we’d been able to watch him try to make that statement to Emily Maitlis on Newsnight, we’d have known it was BS!

According to US Attorney for the Southern District of New York Geoffrey Berman, investigators have reached out to Andrew’s attorneys — but so far have been totally stonewalled!

Speaking to reporters outside Epstein’s Manhattan mansion, Berman stated unequivocally:

“To date, Prince Andrew has provided zero cooperation.”

ZERO! Damn.

The prosecutor’s revelation to reporters was at a joint press conference with Safe Horizon, a nonprofit which provides services for victims of abuse and violent crime in New York City, to discuss a new law called the Child Victims Act, which would make it easier to file lawsuits for childhood sexual abuse.

Berman cautioned his office does not usually make public statements about witness cooperation, but in this case they were making an exception:

“However, in Prince Andrew’s case, he publicly offered, indeed in a press release, offered to cooperate with law enforcement investigating the crimes committed by Jeffrey Epstein and his co-conspirators.”

Well. This was clearly a shot intended to be heard around the world.

Buckingham Palace at the very least, is not getting any more involved than they have been, telling DailyMail.com:

“This issue is being dealt with by the Duke of York’s legal team.”

“Dealt with” seems like an overstatement in this case.

Andrew is accused of having sex on three separate occasions with vocal alleged Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre (née Roberts), who says she was just 17 years old the first time. Just last month another woman joined her in accusing the Duke.

Things are looking worse and worse for Prince Andrew; something tells us eventually investigators will do more than simply ask him to cooperate. As Berman declared:

“Jeffrey Epstein couldn’t have done what he did without the assistance of others, and I can assure you that the investigation is moving forward.”

Oh man we hope everyone involved in this sex trafficking ring goes down. No matter who or how important their position.
