Well this is certainly a Sunday surprise!
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly on the hook for a “major international job” that could see them moving abroad — to somewhere as far-away as Africa — in the year after the birth of their coming child.
All this according to a new bombshell report out earlier today in The Sunday Times, that claims Harry and his advisors are working on “a bespoke role” for the young royal couple, most likely in Africa, that’ll place a heavy focus on their charity work and the good they are able to do in the world.

The plan was apparently initially drawn up by Sir David Manning, the former British ambassador to the United States who now works closely with both Harry and Prince William.
A source told The Times about the apparent plan, revealing (below):
“Discussions are at an early stage, but the plan is to find a new way of using their soft power abilities, most likely in Africa.”
Whoa!!!
Even more telling, Buckingham Palace has NOT openly denied the report, either; instead of coming out with a flat denial, the statement the palace released takes a different tone and openly suggests that this could actually be a thing!!!
From Buckingham Palace (below):
“Any future plans for the Duke and Duchess are speculative at this stage. No decisions have been taken about future roles. The Duke will continue to fulfill his role as Commonwealth Youth Ambassador.”
Hmmm….
According to the reports, other overseas destinations were considered for Harry and Meghan — including both Canada and Australia — but each were turned down and/or outright rejected for various reasons, some of which are starting to come to light, as well.

And that… that’s where the drama comes in.
According to Page Six, there’s so much tension right now between William and Harry that the elder Prince thinks the only proper thing to do is set Meghan and her redheaded husband adrift so as they don’t steal the spotlight back home in the United Kingdom.
And one source speaking to the outlet noted the problem with sending the young couple to Canada, or Australia, or another higher profile country (below):
“The trouble [with Canada] is that you effectively set them up as king and queen of a whole separate country. And 24-hour media means that Australia is not as far away as it used to be. In some ways it would suit William to get his brother out of the country for a few years and Meghan as far away as possible.”
WOW!!!
That’d be a hell of a thing for William to do, wouldn’t it?!
Of course, heading to Africa makes at least some sense for Harry and Meghan — the couple first fell in love on a trip to Botswana several years ago, and Harry himself actually set up a charity in the same African country back in 2006. Furthermore, he has often referred to Africa as his “second home” and has long been drawn to the continent, so it’s at least possible that they wind up somewhere there working as goodwill ambassadors.

The drama here, though, is what really makes the story; are any of y’all buying the fact that William dislikes Harry & Meghan so greatly that he’s willing to effectively shut them out of British life and force them to essentially live in exile. For real????
