We bet Queen Elizabeth II is cringing right about now.
As you surely saw, lovebirds Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are getting the Lifetime treatment as the network is filming a flick about their romance. With the royal wedding only months away, we can’t say we’re surprised to learn that production for Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance is well underway.

We know this to be true as stars Parisa Fitz-Henley and Murray Fraser took an intimate snap while on set for the biopic project on Thursday. Alongside the Instagram photo (above), the Meghan impersonator wrote:
“Sweet Dreams to you. Love, #HarryandMeghan #ARoyalRomance├░┼╕ΓÇÿΓÇÿ├░┼╕ΓÇÖ┬Å @Lifetimetv #MurrayFraser ├░┼╕ΓÇÖΓÇ£ Day 1 #gingerlove”
As the Windors are all about etiquette, we doubt they appreciate their bedroom antics being recreated for the small screen. Nontheless, Harry and Meghan aren’t the first royal couple to have an unauthorized retelling of a love story made. In fact, both Lifetime and Hallmark made TV-movies about Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s romance ahead of their ’11 nuptials.
So it’s pretty safe to assume that multiple Harry-Meghan films are to drop this year. Our guess is that Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance drops sometime before May 19, 2018.
