Aww, poor Prince Harry!
The Duke of Sussex has reportedly been down in the dumps over seeing his love Meghan Markle deal with the stress and relentless public scrutiny of being a royal.

As you know, it hasn’t exactly been smooth sailing for the couple since they made their relationship public back in 2017. Never mind the fact that as they’ve since gotten married and are expanding their family, the royal drama just won’t end.
A source close to the couple says the 34-year-old Prince is more than aware of everything his wife had to leave behind in her previous life, which is what makes him feel even worse:
“Meghan made a huge sacrifice by moving across the pond, away from her mom and friends. Marrying into the royal family isn’t anywhere near as glamorous as it seems, so in a lot of ways Harry feels responsible for Meghan being so miserable.”
And we totally get where he’s coming from here. Adding layers and layer of royal tape between the Duchess and her friends and family, and basically limiting the ability to make her own decisions would stress anyone out.
An insider close to the ex Suits star adds that Harry “takes any attack on Meghan very personally.”
“He’s wanted to publicly make a statement many times defending Meghan and addressing the false rumors. But was advised not to.”
Hmm, what a shame. We definitely wondered what he thought about his sister-in-law Kate Middleton reportedly feeling “used” by Markle to “climb the royal ladder“…
But he’s not the only one being muted either. As we’ve reported, Meghan is “definitely bothered” by all the reports and speculations surrounding her, including her messy family drama with her estranged father and sister-in-law, and not being able to address it the way she was accustomed to in the past:
“Meghan is used to replying to any sort of controversy or comment on Twitter and through a publicist. It’s taken a while for Meghan to get used to having the palace more involved with her life and steering her public image, but she’s finally getting comfortable and trusts that they have her best interests at heart.”
Ugh, those rules must be such a pain in situations like this. Hopefully things will start to get better soon!
