Nope. Not fake news!
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are indeed relocating to the UK.

While it’s true they’ll now be living much closer to the royal family, there are no plans to resume royal duties. According to People, their housing and livelihood will still remain private.
As we reported yesterday, they are keeping their California house and have no plans to sell it. They’ll also be keeping their vacation home in Portugal.
Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, have reportedly already been enrolled in a British school and will start their new education next month.
We know King Charles is happy about it and welcomes them, having been informed of the decision on Sunday, per the BBC. No word yet on how Prince William and Princess Catherine feel. We know there had been tension there in the past, but hopefully this provides more opportunities for healing and forgiveness.
Per a new report TMZ on Thursday, Meghan’s lifestyle brand As Ever and their production company Archewell Productions will continue operations in California. Staff in those companies get to stay in The Golden State, too.
There is reliable reporting framing this as a “temporary” move, at least for now. While the official reasoning has not been revealed, this does give Prince Harry a chance to spend more time with his father, who has endured a public battle with cancer since 2024. Luckily, the monarch has responded “exceptionally” well to treatment, so much so that most of his treatment has been scaled back as doctors continue to monitor. An official spokesperson for the King has stated he is now moving in a “positive direction.”
No. Per TMZ‘s sources, Doria Ragland will stay near Los Angeles, although she does plan to visit them on occasion.
According to Andy Burnham, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, all security detail for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will continue to be a “private matter” as their return is once again stressed to NOT be a return into the official royal family fold.
So what do you think? Does that about cover everything? Or can you think of anything else? Let us know your thoughts in the comments (below)!
