WHOA! DRAMZ!
As we all know and love, Prince William and Duchess Catherine met in college, became sweethearts, got engaged, had a fabulous wedding, and now have an adorable Prince.
They’re basically the living version of a Disney movie. LOLz!!
However, biographer Kate Nicholl, author of the upcoming Kate: The Future Queen was on Katie Couric‘s talk show Katie and said that they didn’t ACTUALLY meet this way!
HUH!?!?
Nicholl told Katie:
“I was speaking to some of her friends at Marlborough [College], which is where she went before St. Andrews…And they said, ‘Uh-uh, she didn’t meet him at St. Andrews. She met him before she got there, while she was at school during her sixth form, through some of her friends. They knew Prince William and Prince Harry, so there wasn’t any meeting [at school].'”
WHAT!!!
Not only this, but Nicholl also claims that after this meeting happened, Kate changed her college choice! She says that Kate was “meant to” attend the University of Edinburgh but “changed her mind” and decided upon St. Andrews instead.
This is crazziness!
But something smells fishy to us!
If we remember correctly, Wills & Kate said in the first interview following their engagement that they initially met one another at their university, St. Andrews.
When the interviewer asked about the “first time they set eyes upon each other” the Duke of Cambridge answered:
“We obviously, we met at university, St Andrews, and we were friends for over a year first, and it just sort of blossomed from then on…”
CRAZY!
We wonder if Nicholl’s claims are actually true or it’s just her way of creating a buzz around the release of her book.
We say we want to see some proof of this otherwise lay off our adorable real life Disney Prince & Princess!
