A Royal Wedding Fruitcake!

We love fruitcake! LOLZ!
While you might want a huge, multi-layered cake-cake with frosting and what-not for your wedding, sources are reporting that Prince William and Kate Middleton are opting for something a little more traditional, yet nutty for their wedding dessert. The royal event of the decade will undoubtedly have the best of the best of everything and when the night is over, William and Kate’s guests will feast on the U.K. wedding staple of…. fruitcake!
Yeah, we know. Fruitcake probably sounds pretty gross to you, but according to a UK wedding planner, the dish is making a comeback in a big way! Plus, supposedly it is a tradition to store the top layer of the cake in a tin and serve it at the Christening of a couple’s first child.
Aw! That’s kind of special! We like that idea!
