End of an era…
According to a new report out of the Sunday Times, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and Prince William and Kate Middleton are on the verge of disbanding their court.
For those not in the know, both princes and their families currently work together to represent the throne out of a single household in Kensington Palace.

But according to the Times, that is all about to change. A source tells them:
“The brothers have leaned on each other and looked after each other since their mother Princess Diana died over 21 years ago. But now they have their own families, they no longer rely on each other as before.”
The source points out it’s Prince William’s destiny which will soon take him on a very different path from his brother:
“When William becomes the Prince of Wales, he will take on a lot of extra responsibility, including the Duchy of Cornwall and all that entails. Harry and Meghan have none of that and seem ambitious about forging their own paths. They have become different people with different outlooks on life. Splitting the household is the obvious thing to do.”
But it’s not just the difference between heir and spare driving the princes apart. The timing of the split makes it obvious this is partly about Meghan.
Marrying such a strong woman with her a clear focus on feminism seems to have given Harry even more direction — and not his brother’s.
Royal expert Sally Bedell Smith explains to People:
“The arrival of Meghan has changed the dynamic of the relationship in a fairly significant way. It is inevitable and practical because it gives Harry and Meghan some freedom to build up their own collection of interests and charities. Meghan has very strong views on what she is interested in and that may be what Harry shares, but not what William and Kate share.”
Insiders say the breakup will begin in the Spring, shortly after Meghan gives birth.
