Prince William has BIG plans for the royal family, something that will radically change one of the most iconic buildings in England. He wants to turn Buckingham Palace into a luxury hotel! OMG!
Sources spilled the tea to Rob Shuter‘s Naughty But Nice Substack on Monday, revealing that the Prince of Wales wants to open up the historic building to the public. A palace insider shared:
“William doesn’t see this as an either-or. The palace can host kings, presidents and diplomats — and welcome paying guests and museum visitors at the same time.”

This change would expand the amount of access the public gets to the building, allowing visitors to tour historic rooms and royal collections, as well as get to book overnight stays. It would be a pretty unique experience! Another source hyped it up:
“Imagine saying you slept at Buckingham Palace. People would travel from every corner of the world for that experience. It would generate millions while preserving the palace for future generations.”
And there you have it. “It would generate millions.” He’s looking to secure the monarchy’s future forever — and he thinks selling out their property is the way!
According to sources, this is part of the father of three’s belief that the royal family needs to do a better job of utilizing the resources it already has. And in this instance, that means making use of the space instead of letting it sit empty for most of the year. Another source shared:
“He’s not sentimental about the building. He’s sentimental about the monarchy. If turning part of Buckingham Palace into a museum and luxury hotel helps secure the institution’s future, he’ll do it.”
The source added:
“The palace won’t stop being a palace. It will simply work harder than ever before.”
Hmm.
