Princess Catherine is coming back… but she’s also going to be taking it easy after she completed her chemotherapy treatment.
ICYMI, on Monday Kate Middleton released a video announcement in which she revealed she’d complete her chemo treatments and is now cancer free. Incredible news!

The video featured some heartwarming clips of herself alongside her husband Prince William, as well as their children Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6. You can see the whole gorgeous thing (below):
Even though the Princess of Wales is done with her chemotherapy treatment, though, she’s not going to be jumping right back into the same schedule of royal duties she had before. A source for People said she’ll be taking it a little easier than normal for a while in order to focus on her health:
“She had a lovely summer and is very focused on her wellbeing. She is definitely going to be doing less.”
She said in her video she’s ready to resume her duties, but we guess not all. Not right away at least. The outlet reports that she’ll make a few more public appearances for the remainder of the year, but her 2025 schedule is still unknown, as she’ll continue to follow medical advice in the future. The 42-year-old will be expected to attend Remembrance Day in November, and is said to be planning her annual carol concert in Westminster Abbey in December. But she still wants to focus more on William and her kiddos now.
Completely understandable! Cancer and chemotherapy is nothing to take lightly, we’re glad to hear she’s putting her wellbeing first. We continue to send love and healing to Kate and her fam.
