Princess Diana's Fairy Tale Ball Gown Fetches Big Bucks At Auction!

Princess Diana's fairy tale gown makes some serious bank!
Princess Diana‘s style icon status lives on!
The late royal’s fairy tale-inspired ball gown from 1986 was auctioned off yesterday at the Kelly Taylor Auction House in London for approximately $163,000!
The dress, designed by the Princess’s wedding dress designers David and Elizabeth Emanuel, features a peplum accent and ornate gold embellishments throughout, and was purchased by an unknown museum.
Diana wore the dress on several occasions, including a banquet at the German Embassy in London in honor of Queen Elizabeth II and at the premiere of the Bolshoi Ballet‘s Ivan the Terrible at the Royal Opera House.
She wore it a third time at the premiere of the James Bond film The Living Daylights in 1987. We love that she recycled her outfits just like Kate Middleton does now!
