Princess Diana's Dresses To Go On Display At Kensington Palace

They sure do get around!
Five of Princess Diana‘s most famous dresses will go on display at Kensington Palace next year to celebrate the $18 million renovation to her former home.
The dresses selected to be part of the 6 month Diana exhibit includes Di’s black silk taffeta Emanuel gown, a black Versace dress, a white and black Bellville Sassoon Lorcan Mullany dress, an ivory Catherine Walker dress and a red and purple sari also designed by Walker.
Kensington Palace’s curator said in a statement:

We have carefully selected this collection of exquisite dresses to illustrate to visitors Diana’s evolving style and the important role fashion played in creating her public image. Kensington Place is an ideal setting to showcase these gowns – the atmosphere of the display will be truly magical.”

For those wanting to see Diana’s wardrobe up close and personal, the exhibit opens March 26th and runs through September.
