Priyanka Chopra Dodges Nick Jonas Engagement Questions: 'My Personal Life Is Not For Public Consumption'

Whomever Priyanka Chopra may or may not be engaged to is between her and Nick Jonas.
On Monday, the Quantico actress sort of addressed her yet-to-be-confirmed engagement to the 25-year-old singer during a Q&A at Dehli’s Taj Balace Hotel Dhuala Kuan.
And by “addressed,” we mean told the audience that her love life is none of their damn business!

The session was meant to focus on the 36-year-old’s professional endeavors, but she took a minute to explain that some aspects of her life — roughly 10 percent of it — were off limits to the public.
She told the crowd:

“My entire life—my personal life—is not for public consumption. Ninety percent of my life is for public consumption, but 10 percent is for me. I’m a girl; I have the right to keep that to myself… My family, my friendships and my relationships are things I don’t think I need to defend or explain to anyone. I am not running for office, so I don’t think I need to give explanations.”

Trust us, Pri, no one’s asking you to explain WHY you’re settling down with a Jonas.

The actress didn’t appear to be wearing her engagement ring during the panel discussion, though some papz reportedly caught her removing the ring and placing it in her pocket once she arrived in India.
Naturally, Priyanka finds the sudden interest in her love life to be exhausting, but said she has learned to roll with the punches:

“Sometimes I laugh, sometimes I get annoyed. Mostly, I tell my publicists, ‘Let it be. Today’s news is tomorrow’s trash.'”
