Pro Hockey Player Picks Up Hitch-Hiking Bono

Um…… what?!

LOL!

Edmonton Oilers Gilbert Brule found a surprise on the side of the rode while driving in Vancouver — U2├óΓé¼Γäós Bono.

Brule’s girlfriend Kelsey was driving, and she almost didn’t stop when they saw him.

“I didn’t want to stop, but they waved and [Gilbert] yelled ‘that’s Bono’,” said Kelsey. “I didn’t believe him so I kept driving.”

The reason Bono ended up hitchhiking was because he had gone for a walk with his assistant, but then it started raining. And when you’re Bono, rain is the universal signal to start hitchhiking.

Bono gave the couple backstage passes to his upcoming concert, and said a few kind words about them in an inteview:

“I like ice hockey because people who play ice hockey are the kind of people who pick up hitchhikers. I’m ever so grateful. I’ve decided that I want to be Gilbert Brule.”

This is HIGHlarious!!
