Former Project Runway Hairstylist George Ortiz Found Dead In NYC Apartment After Apparent Suicide

This is tragic.
Hairstylist George Ortiz — who you may know from Project Runway — was found dead in his New York City apartment early Tuesday morning, according to police. He was 45.
Police Lt. Thomas Antonetti says Ortiz, who was last seen alive on Sunday, was discovered by his roommates in their home on Riverside Drive in Manhattan.

AP reports the death is being investigated as a suicide while the New York Daily News says the Medical Examiner’s office has ruled his death a suicide caused by “asphyxia by covering of head with fastened plastic bag and displacement of oxygen by nitrogen.”
So unbelievably sad.
