Chris Golighty should have treaded lightly before making all kinds of accusations.
Chris was selected to be a part of American Idol’s Top 24 this year, only to be booted from the competition because he was supposedly under contract with another label. Chris made a big stink that he wasn’t and that he was unfairly treated by the producers.
Except now we’ve learned that the producers had every right to toss him! After reviewing Chris’ contract with Dream Projects Entertainment, sources learned that Chris had an exclusive, two-year commitment with DPE, making him ineligible.
But Chris insists that even though he signed the contract on May 30, 2009, exactly a month before his Idol audition at the Rose Bowl in El Lay, he was let go from it before the Idol deadline.
In an act of complete desperation, Chris will hold a news conference today at 9:30 AM to beg for his slot back!
What did we tell you, kid? When you are out, you are out! It’s over, finished! See if this DPE want you back because trust us, you Idol future is over!
