Prosecutors in the Roman Polankski statutory rape case are pushing to deny the victim’s request to have the charges dropped.
The now 32-year-old Samantha Geimer tried to rid herself of the incident and drop charges because the media frenzy around the case has affected her job and health.
But her pleas will not be heard!
According to court papers, prosecutors have urged a California appeals court to dismiss Geimer’s attempt to throw out the case because she has “no right or authority to dictate the outcome of a criminal case”.
Polanksi should face charges, but hasn’t Miss Geimer been through enough?!
Poor thing.
