Did Meghan Markle and Queen Elizabeth II just become best friends???
Apparently her majesty has grown quite fond of Prince Harry‘s new wife, as she “has met Meghan on more than a few occasions, privately and publicly.”

According to Us Weekly, a source close to the royal family says:
“It’s been a fantastic opportunity for her to get to know more about Meghan and where her passions lie.”
And it turns out the 36-year-old (former) actress is getting along nicely with her grandmother-in-law:
“Meghan quickly demonstrated that she is intelligent, polite and keen to learn. Her enthusiasm towards living a life of service and humanitarianism excites the queen and it’s just the type of vim and vigor she likes to see in someone.”
The feeling is mutual. The insider also shares that Meg is loving getting some one-on-one time with the matriarch:
“She has a brilliant sense of humor. That’s one of the first things that brought her and Meghan closer. It’s that warm side of her that has made Meghan feel so at ease.”
