Vacations are very serious business!
Especially when you’re as busy as Queen Elizabeth!
Her Majesty was visiting Cumbria on Wednesday, when a little girl asked her if she wanted Kate Middleton and Prince William’s baby to be a boy or girl. You can hear her answer (below), but the funniest part was that she wants the baby to hurry up.
Why is that funny, you ask?
Because the Queen is going away on holiday! Every summer she escapes London’s heat at her Balmoral estate in Scotland.
This must be why there were arrangements to bring the baby to the Queen, rather than her coming to the hospital to see it.
Which maybe means — OH EM GEE — They knew that the baby might be born while she was on vacation all along!
Or maybe not, but still, it’s the teensiest bit flabbergasting that William’s grandma isn’t anxious to meet her great-grandson or great-granddaughter!
